Windows Movie Maker crashs every time I import video file...

    I download some AVI movies and wanna burn them to DVDs, but every time I import a video file to Windows Movie maker, it always crashs. Help plz... it almost make me crazy!

    Do you plan on editing this? Other wise you need a program like nero to burn the files to dvds, movie maker is for editing video.

    I haven't use Windows Movie Maker ever, but I typed in "windows movie maker crashes" on google and found there are thousands of results! I thinks you could tried some professional DVD maker like Nero as Colemanguy said, this is a simple tutorials that I found: http://www.dvdconvertersoft.com/how-to-convert-avi-to-dvd/

    What version of Windows Movie Maker do you have?
    What format are the videos you're trying to import? What are their source?
