Windows Movie Maker

I started using fraps in games to make movies. I cant get Windows Movie maker to work right with the downloaded one i have, and i cant find a direct download of it.

At any rate i fiqure there is a equal or better simple small powerful Movie Making software out there to pick up for FREE! I really only need to take fraps video clips and add some effects and music and Credits etc.


Would there be any alternative to Windows Movie Maker that is worth while and free?

 

virtualdub does pretty well for those purposes, many gamers make their vidoes with it if they don't have Adobe Premier or another expensive editing program. http://www.virtualdub.org/
