this keeps coming up in my system tray every minute or so

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v65/comeback-kid/gayingmylife.jpg

i keeps automaticaly downloading a version of bravesentry that won't remove the spyware it finds unless i pay like $100 or something.

i have ran an avg search and found no viruses

i have ran both ad-aware and spyboy-s&d searches and got rid of the spyware it found.

yet when i restart the pop-up still comes.

i would run ad-aware and spybot again and there's always new spyware that it would find.

sorry if there has been a thread on this already, i couldn't find any to do with this problem when i ran a forum search on this.

any help on getting rid of this problem without having to spend money on which something that should be fixed by ad-aware or spybot would greatly be appreciated

At the very beginning of the procedure, the first note says:
This should inform you that you may not find the files mentioned. It may or may not be a problem. The infection has 3 to 4 new variations per week.

SmitRem did delete a few files related to the infection. Have you rebooted again since posting your last message? If not, please reboot. If you still have a problem after reboot continue on to the below standard cleaning steps so we can find whatelse is hiding on your PC.

    • Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
    • Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.
    • After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:
    • When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
      • Bitdefender
      • Panda Scan
      • HijackThis
