Attempting a Clean install of Server 2000
After 2000 Setup Process completes and I finally get to the "Push Ctl, Alt, Delete to login" screen. THe Keyboard and Mouse both drop their connectivity. Both Keyboard and Mouse are PS2, not trying to confuse the server by throwing it a USB Curveball here.

If anyone can helpo me with this it would be great, and since this problem may be Hardware related, I am going to post this in that forum as well. I just don't think that it is hardware related, because of the fact it will recognize the Kb/mouse throughout the entire setup process.

If you have any com ports and parallel ports not being used, you could try disable via the bios, in the event there is a conflict. If that doesn't work, then see if there are any settings in the bios to reset plug-n-pray settings. You could try toggle off then on PnP OS, if available via bios.
Another alternative, if you installed terminal services on setup, then you could access the server via term services. At least then you could get in and see what's up.
Also, what happens if you boot into safe mode? Or if you only boot up with just the keyboard (no mouse).
Some how, you need to check those event logs. You could check them by using the "Computer Management" MMC console from another Win2k or XP machine.
