Windows Sharing acting up.

Hello, I had a malware problem that Kestrel helped me fix (see my thread in the Malware Removal section for reference if needed). I've found another Windows function that seems to not be working due to left overs from the virus/cleanup process. For reference, I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

I run a render farm off this computer, and the other networked computers cannot see/access my computer any longer. I see that the certain files are no longer shared as they were. When I try to share them, nothing happens.

Under the Network, I get a message that says "Network discovery and file sharing are turned off. Network computers and devices are not visible. Click to change..."

When I click to change, and choose "Turn on network discovery and file sharing", it gives me the same message again.

 

OK, I ran the SFC, it said it found and repaired some files. Then I compared the list to BlackViper and fixed 4 that were different from Auto to Manual.

What is the next step?

For reference, the problem is still occuring.

Does anyone know if I can insert the Windows 7 disc and have it repair the problems/missing files that way?
