Windows\system32\config\system missing!!!

Unfortunately "Enter" isn't working so I'm trying to contact the guy who sold it to me for the password if he even remembers it. If not I'll have to dnld password bypass software from microsoft or something and burn it to a cd. Can't try the restore command til I get the password. But the good news is that it never asked me before, which gives me hope that XP is still intact. Thanks so much!!! Dave

 

Trinity Rescue Kit allows you to reset the admin password. Also this utility. Unfortunately you have to burn the iso files and it seems that you have a problem with your burner.
