    Hi

What Service Pack to XP do you have?

What do you have running thats using a constant network stream (close all running apps thst may use local and internet)? even at the correctly reported 1.5%

Have you rebooted and checked again if this is constant all the time the PC is on?

Is this PC on a home negwork or corporate?

It's a home network. Yes, I was using CDBurnerXP to burn an ISO which was located on another computer on a network.
But when it was finished burning, then the red line goes down...
but now i checked and saw that it was showing only "bytes sent" now I switched to "bytes total" and it's ok :)
    sorry for bothering you.. :)
