windows update

my windows update no longer works, I have windows 7 professional 64.also my installed updates is blank, I have looked at many forums none of them helped!

 

Is "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" (BITS) enabled in Services, along with Remote Procedure Call (RPC) & Com+? all those services are on, still get error code 8007312.

You are going to have to download a Win7SP1 Iso from digital river then.

tried fix wu 1.0 didn't work. my windows disk is without sp1. my operating system has sp1, that's why can"t rerun upgrade.

 

Again 99999, you are going to have to download the Win7 sp1 ISO from Digital River, in order to do this.

 

downloaded win 7 pro iso, tried to run stops at(setup can"t continue, restart the computer and restart setup, when prompted, try getting the latest updates.). ran 2 times, same thing.

 

Then you are going to have no choice, but do a complete format and reinstall of the operating system.

Try running a Ubuntu LiveDVD, and look at the S.M.A.R.T. info on the drive. My guess is that the drive is going bad, which screwed up the MBR.
