Windows updates Xp

Is there away to save these updates does any body know how too So that i do not have to keep redownloading them.

Like saving them to a CD or some thing.

You could try using the WUtool which is available from right here at MajorGeeks. This tool will control the download and installation of windows update files and save Windows Updates files in a special folder.

Or you might try using another tool called AutoPatcher; which is also available here at MajorGeeks. This tool will check all of the updates you need and will download them for you. It will install the updates and will also save them on disk for re-use if needed. Im just getting tired:tired of downloading the updates every time i install xp and plus this will help be cause the Windows update will Expire in 2014 for windows Xp.

Thanks for this info i will use both if needed i mostly save every thing to my flash drive stick.

But it would all so be good to have a hard copy on disk as well.

 

Another Question are these files being download from Microsoft or from the Majorgeek site.

 

They still come from microsoft. Autopatcher is just a tool that makes it easier to find em on the site, you can manualy search for the kb with the number and find the network installs that way, but the above methods make it way easier to download bunches of em at one time.
