Windows Version Problem

    Okay, after reinstalling Win 2k, I have been reinstalling my games and programs, but several games that worked before, are now telling me that they are not supported by this version of windows... I am running the same version as before, and I have installed all available updates... anyone have any suggestions?

    What games are not working?

    What build number is WIndows 2000?

    Make sure you have Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 and the latest DirectX updates.

    Ok I am running Windows 2000 (5.00.2195) With Service Pack 4. I am running DirectX 9.0c. The game I am trying to make work and having troublpe with is the original Fallout, which makes me think that my problem is with backwards-compliance as opposed to having the latest updates... I tried the Compatability mode in win95, win98 and winNT, all to no avail
