Windows Vista Bug - Please help

    All of a suddden when I turn on my Laptop Windows displays the initial splash screen with the little circle indicator in the middle but just stays there and never loads Vista taking me to my desktop ?

    Any suggestions ?

    Do you get the same resulting issue when you try to boot in safemode (f8 on reboot) ?? please let me know asap.

    It locks up in safe mode when loading the driver for crcdisk.sys ??

    As MA has pointed out it looks like you're going to have to do a repair install of windows, it seems to be that you have a corrupt system driver that a rrepair install will remedy for you.
