This does not appear to be a malware problem. My suspicion is that it is from using Nero 8 and allow Nero Scout to be integrated into Windows Explorer.

Click Start, All Programs, Nero 9 Ultra Edition, Tools, Nero Scout

When you get to the Nero Scout Options form. Make sure you uncheck the option that says Integrate Nero Scout in Windows Explorer. Then click Apply and OK your way out. Then reboot your PC.

Make sure the below is no longer in your HijackThis log startup list:

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [IndxStoreSvr_{79662E04-7C6C-4d9f-84C7-88D8A56B10AA}] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nero\Lib\NMIndexStoreSvr.exe" ASO-616B5711-6DAE-4795-A05F-39A1E5104020

Also make sure that the NMIndexStoreSvr.exe process is no longer running.

    Did that help?

I notice that you have no protection software installed. Why not?

You should also seriously look into to doubling your RAM.

Are you sure the process no longer loads at startup? Run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that is create.

Since I saw a crack in your MBAM log for Vista being used, I have to ask is your copy of Vista legit? MBAM showed the below:

This is a very bad idea and the result of doing this could lead to very severe problems. Especially if you use your PC to do any forum of financial transactions. One keylogger could steal all of your passwords and financial info. Every program you run will have an effect on your PCs performance but have protection software is like car insurance. If you don't have it, you could run into big problems at some point. There are plenty of good free tools out there. See this: How to Protect yourself from malware!

Yes but who downloaded the below files and why?

    C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files\Windows Vista Ultimate SP3 2007 Crack.zip.exe (Backdoor.Bot) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Windows Vista Ultimate SP3 2007 Crack.zip.exe

    And were they used?

Your MGlogs.zip file is not fully updated. 4 out of the 6 files are still the same logs as last time. You must make sure that UAC is disabled, that you Run As Administrator, and that you allow it to finish running. Try again and attach a new log.

Okay at this point I will send you back to the Software Forum since your problems are not related to malware. You may wish to try running sfc /scannow from the Start,Run box and you may also want to look at your Even Viewer log to see if any problems are being reported there.

sfc = System File Checker and it looks for missing or corrupted system files and trys to correct problems from backups on your hard disk. If it finds problems and cannot fix them from copies on the hard disk, it will ask for your Windows CD. Since no CD was requested, you should be OK.

That is why you need to go to the Software Forum with a log from the Event Viewer and let them help you with it (assuming any problems are found in it). See this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308427

You will have to post in your thread in the Software Forum to see what info anyone who can respond wishes to see. The link I gave you was really a link for the Windows XP Event Viewer. You may wish to look at the below for Vista.

    http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/help/a99f69c1-935f-4116-ba5f-33d8800ef9da1033.mspx

    http://www.computerperformance.co.uk/vista/vista_event_viewer.htm

    http://www.petri.co.il/vista-event-viewer.htm

I would assume they would want to see logs of Applicatons and System events where any critical, warnings or errors that arre occurring. General information events are not really of any interest in most cases. You can use a Filter to only show and also to only Save a filtered log that only show things of interest.
