Windows Vista won't boot up, only works in safe mode HELP!!!!!!!

    I have an Acer Extensa 4420-5963 laptop with an AMD 64x2 dual core processor running Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. My computer stopped booting normally, the windows symbol appears then nothing. My screen stays black. My Kaspersky Antivirus expired so currently I only have super Anti-Spyware free edition running. It identified some spyware and eliminated the threats it found, but the problem still remains. I attempted to do a full system restore, but it prompts for a password and I've never used one before, so I was stuck there. I've also attempted to restore to the earliest restore point, but that didn't help either. I'm pretty desperate to fix the problem and my laptop didn't come with any discs, please help!!!!!!

    I don't know if this will help, but I ran hijackthis and here's the log:

    While I am waiting for you to reply and attach the requested logs, open HJT and do a system scan only and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

    Then use windows explorer to find and delete:
    C:\Users\CHRIST~1\AppData\Local\Temp\attrgini.dll
