Windows Vista

I am having a problem with vista. It seems nothing is compatable with vista. I can't even hardly find a game I can play. when I try to launch a game, it says Macromedia Projector stopped working then it wants to find a solution on the internet which it never does. do you have a solution? I did go online and look it up and it said I needed a macromedia flashplayer, which i installed and it still didn't fix it. please help me. thanks.

What are your hardware specs?

 

Try running it in compatability mode. Right click on it and hit Properties and then the compatability tab. Try choosing XP and see if it works. I have no idea what game you're talking about, I guess a flash game, but the compatability solution seems to usually work.

 

It isn't one specific game, it is just about all games.

 

As Adrynalyne, has stated....What are your system specs?

 

Two things I had a problem with Vista gaming are:

1. My sound card which caused games to either a) crash on load or b) lag terribly with huge frame rate loss. If you have a 5.1 card you'll need to drop it back to stereo in the Sound options/Control panel.
2. Also check in the games folder for a opengl file - with the .dll extension. Sometimes renaming this file with a tag on the end will make the game run.
