Windows wont Start Problem.

Yesterday and now Today, Windows 7 64 Ultimate has said it can't start normally. I have tried System Restore but this did not work.

I also got the Blue Screen of Death. I have Downloaded and installed Blue Screen View and its report shows two files:

Try going to Start -> Run and type sfc /scannow (note space between sfc and forward slash) and press Enter. Windows should attempt to repair/replace any corrupted System files.

 

I did the Verify one and it said no errors found.

What security software are you running (AV, firewall, etc)? That cmdguard.sys file is associated with Comodo and it may NOT be compatible with your OS version.

 

I have Avast Anti Virus, Comodo Firewall which i have ran before without any problems.

I also have Ad Aware Anti Virus which is a second line defense and i dont have it running all the time.

The other one is Malware Bytes.

I did scans the other day and they came back Zero. I also did a Windows Start Up Repair today and a Memory Check. They also came back with Zero.

I ran Slim Drivers and it says i am all up to date as does Windows Update.


I have removed and then Reinstalled Comodo Firewall.
