    Hi,
I need to activate Windows xp over a telephone as I do not have internet access at present.
I would just like to know what information besides the product key they require.
I would like to have everything ready instead of looking for information when I ring them.
    Thank you.

    Hi ray :)
You need to sitting at your computer where you will be asked for the software key and that is all. You may under certain circumstances be asked some additional questions you may even be asked to type in some letters in to the key box and not use your key code at all but by and large it is a very straight forward process that should take no more then ten minutes

    regards

Correct because Windows generates groups of 4 digit numbers, not the cd key, and displays these on the screen.

You input these numbers to a touch tone phone and and the msoft system reads you back some different ones to input to a box below on your pc screen. The system is very helpful and allows you to review your input. Also the phone number is free so you can take your time to get it right without worry.
