windows xp and 2000 blue screen

Hello Everyone, once again i have a computer that's giveing me issues.:cry This time i have an IBM netvista and am trying to reinstall windows on it. I first tried to install but i got a bluescreen. I got the same blue screen that i error that i got after trying to boot into windows. "Page in non faulted area" or something close to that. Does this have anything to do with the RAM. It's running on 128 MB of SD RAM. The only reason i think it might have to do with the RAM is becuase it says page and i am thinking page file, but I am probably way off and hit an air ball. :mad Then once i got that error again, I tried using DBAN to format the Drive. DBAN said the format was successful but i am not too sure it was. i got the same error again. I am not too sure on what to do. if anyone needs a picture of what the error message is i may be able to get one.

 

Download memtest to a disk:

Restart pc, press a key printed on screen for SETUP/BIOS, load bios defaults, save and exit, boot up memtest for 5+ passes. If it checks out, install Windows.

thanks for the help it kinda worked but i found a whole box of sd ram in the server room at my workplace and replaced the ram until i found some that worked.
