Can anyone tell me if I can install my Windows XP on my Acer Aspire AM100 desktop computer with Vista Home Basic. I've read somewhere that you can, but not sure how to do it.

I never understood it so I never tried it but a short answer is yes it can be done.I put the link from MS that explains how to do it. I read the article but I think it's missing some important details. If you hang on here someone will probably post a better answer hopefully with some step by step instructions

Thank you. Yep there is some important steps to take im sure, I think I read it in PC World last year, but it showed the opposite way, installing Vista, with XP already installed.
