    Hello-

Hoping this is the correct forum for this question since I believe it's a Windows issue(?). I have an SD memory card for my digital camera that fits in the empty slot on the front of my computer. After inserting the card, I would be able to access my photos via the J: drive and, when finished viewing/saving to new location, I could remove the card and put it back into the camera. When going through 'My Computer', I would also see options for an H: and I: drive along with the J: drive.

Today I was accessing photos from the memory card as usual with one exception (or at least the only one I think might be relevant): I failed to close the Windows Explorer window for the J: drive before removing the memory card. Now when clicking on 'My Computer', the H:, I: & J: drives are no longer listed as options - even when the memory card is inserted.

I tried searching the web and found this article on the Microsoft site: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555443
(Note: I'm a novice so it's quite likely what I was searching for was nowhere near the correct lingo to find my answer. I apologize if this link is way off base!)
I followed the path in the registry editor but did not have anything that said 'StorageDevicePolicies' to modify.

Can you guys help me get my computer to recognize my memory card again?

    Thanks in advance!
