Windows xp display drivers

Here’s my problem running XP pro the wrong display settings were installed.
Bios displays and windows xp logo posts but once xp takes over I get a black screen the unit will not run in safe mode. Is there a way to delete the system drivers in the Windows/system32 folder causing the system to reload or use default settings allowing some kind of display once again so the correct drivers can be loaded. I cannot use a second monitor or network to this unit and yes the Bios settings are correct and there is no way to load a previous settings
