Windows xp errors!

Hi there!

A few days ago, I installed windows Xp pro sp2 edition on my pc. All went fine till it went wrong... it said it missed some files but continued installing...
After the install I wanted to log in, but it gave me an error message that it could not create a temporarorly profile... So I have no Static profile... This is the folder I log into: E:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\My Documents
I don't know but I think that it's wrong... I also can't install acrobat reader, office and other tools that rely on Documents and Settings

Is there a manier for fixing this without having to reinstall windows all over again!?

 

Update:

Ok, I found the Documents and Settings folder... it was hidden in the drive with no content... totally empty.! I can not delete it, and can not rename it... I can't even acces it :S

 

Have you got windows installed on your primary hard drive?
It should be installed on C: not E:.

 

I've got a harddrive set up in 3 partitions. and one of them is E:! That's also where windows was installed, but the case here is, that I got errors when first installing it, but if there is no idea how to fix it, I'll have to reinstall it with an other cd... (I'll have to search that thoe!)
