I just installed service pack 3, which required a reboot. Now my explorer is in a constant shutdown/restart loop. Every few seconds, I lose my desktop icons, then they reappear. I get no error, but it does freeze sometimes. How do I fix this?

does it also do it in safe mode? if not, see if you can get into safe mode and uninstall sp3, then make sure all is well, and try to install it again.

It did it in safe mode also, but I got an error message. (No disk error, exception processing message "c0000013 parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c") I uninstalled then reinstalled and still have the loop. Seems like a critical file was altered or lost. Do I need to reinstall xp or is there a downloadable fix for explorer? A simple fix would be nice. ;)
