Help, I have a Lexmark Z611 printer that when trying to print will cause windows to freeze. I have not been able to get a result to calling Lexmar. I am really stuck and dont know were to go. I have already checked all my window updates, also tried getting a new printer, took old one back and exchanged it, still same problem. At times windows can not communicate with the printer. Have also tried changing the usb cable, and changed to a different usb plug.

    Thanks in advanced

    Hi deleontow
Have you tried updating your motherboard's USB 2.0 drivers?
Also maybe try uninstalling the printer, going to device manager, removing all USB ports and restarting.
Windows will 'rebuild' the USB ports. Then try reinstalling the printer again.
Failing that, is there any way you could borrow a USB 2.0 PCI card to test out?
