Windows xp home backup program

Hi,i want to backup 9 gigs of information(all info on my computer) to 2 or 3 dvd discs.I notice there is no backup program in xp home.I`ve been told xp home has a backup program on the xp disc,however xp home came preinstalled on my new computer---so no xp disc.
Are there any backup programs available that are free or inexpensive that will backup all my info to dvd discs?

There's tons of programs that'll do what you want in the 'Back-up' section
here on MG, but the majority of them you need to pay for. There are a couple of freeware ones though. These sound like they'll do what you're looking for:

Another solution is to get ntbackup.msi from somewhere else:

http://www.onecomputerguy.com/software/ntbackup.msi

Though the Microsoft backup-utility doesn't allow you backup directly to a dvd/cd-r disk. Instead you must place the backup-file on the harddisk and then later write it to the dvd/cd-r using the software aquired with the dvd/cd-r.
