Windows XP Home Edition: Only loads to Bios

Thanks in Advance for any ideas or solutions to this issue.After resolving a few issues with too many anti virus program,s on my desktop, got them cleared and cleaned the system with the help of two MG's here, now my desktop will only load to Bios Screen, it loads to Win XP Splash and then reloads. It will go to options if I hit F8 but will not load any of the options and I have tried all of them.

The issue started or should I say has been a current theme of the system not recognizing my ADM PW, I swear it keeps getting changed and therefore I seriously suspect malware but all the scans I did prior showed nothing too serious so I haven't a clue... I had to take the side off the tower and remove the pin to reset my pw to regain control but now it just won't load XP.

The desktop will not recognize my XP CD only the separate CD driver and utilities CD. I ran a diagnostic test on all systems and it passed every test. My phone crashed also around 2 minutes after the computer.

Idea? I am considering a MAC next, but wouldn't mind being able to nurse this along another few months....

I have not attempted any fixes since I cannot log on to download anything and am at the Pub library ...will bring my blank USB dev and download the program fixes tomorrow . Thanks again!
