Windows XP Home Edition (SP2) Failure to Boot

As the topic indicates, I am now unable to boot Windows XP when I turn my computer on. I downloaded a program called Bootvis yesterday and attempted to trace and optimize my boot sequence so it would be faster.

Here's what happened. Apparently you're supposed to select an option in the program that will trace your boot pattern upon the next system restart. I did this and restarted my computer. (I also added the /noguishow parameter to the BOOT.INI file to speed things up, however small the difference was, so now after the normal horizontal white bar progress I don't even see the boot screen/Windows logo.) Anyway, all it does now is do the white horizontal bar progress and then just sits there. But even though I can't see the Windows logo, it acts like it's loading Windows because I can see the normal hard drive activity LED light blinking. What isn't normal is the fact that after a few seconds, it stops blinking and becomes solid (and I can still hear activity going on inside the hard drive when I listen, like it's constantly trying to do something.) But apparently this is to no end; I left it like that for almost 10 hours today and the LED light was still solid/I could hear it doing something when I came back.

I tried all the advanced Windows startup options (Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Command Prompt, Last Known Good Configuration, etc.) None of them work. Each one just leads to the completed white progress bar and the hard drive trying endlessly to start Windows.

If I could somehow edit my boot/uninstall Bootvis without being in Windows, perhaps that would work but alas I don't know how. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
