Windows XP internet connection issuse

I have a desktop running windows xp that can't access the internet through chrome or explorer. I was able to ping google.com I tried doing ipconfig release/ renew. I have cleaned with malwerebytes (cleaned safe mode and normal boot) so I hope that it is really clean but I still can't figure out why I can't get a connection with the browsers. I have add ipconfig/all report and also hijackthis just in case there is something I missed there. Thank for the help

HI and Welcome to the forum

You do have a few unwelcome BHO (browser helper objects) - Mywebsearch being one of them, plus a few unknown search hooks and as Hijackthis is not a great tool to find all malware possibly on a PC, I would advise you to follow the below and then start a new thread in our malware forum area.

Then if our experts deem you malware free and you still cannot access the internet, post back in this threads and let us know and as we have a good malware free starting point to work from we know the cause is not malware.

Please follow David's advice and post all logs in the malware forum. Your connectivity issues are as a result of all http and https being routed through a local proxy.

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = http=127.0.0.1:1035;https=127.0.0.1:1035

So you definitely want whatever set this proxy removed, along with all the other junk.

Thank you I removed that entry from hijack and it seems to have fix the trouble. I am not saying it is fix yet but thing that like you have said it seems to have sloved the trouble for now but will countine with the malware thread. Thanks again.
