    Here's my situation...

I have an old sony viao machine with Windows XP Media Center Edition (obviously, heh), and I've been using it to watch TV on for years. Recently, I updated the drivers for my AGP ATI Radeon HD 3850 (which I've had for a while now, and has worked fine with the Media Center), and now when I attempt to watch TV I get the message, "Video Error: Files needed to display video are missing or corrupt." I have researched this issue extensively, and tried everything from:

Rolling back the ATI driver, reinstalling the ATI drivers, using driver cleaner and then installing the ATI drivers, using system restore, installing MPEG-2 decoders, installing NVIDIA's purevideo decoder, re-registering the Media Center files, changing all the TV tuner services from "manual" to "automatic"...and maybe some other things that I can't remember. I also don't have an XP setup CD.

This is aggravating me to no end, because I don't want to go out and buy a TV for my room.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
