I am having problems with my HP A1250N Dual athlon AMD64 3800 with 1gig mem,250 sata, lightscribe dvd+- writer/cd writer. When using a dvd copy program the machine becomes unstable and non responsive.rebooting seems to work for a while but installed programs from before reboot aren't there. ran all the scans for virus, spyware ,etc all ok The burners now won't burn the previusly burned image that was just done prior to the reboot. I restore and all is well. trying to do the same copy results in simular problems anyone know whats going on? i've checked for the sony malware and scan is negative. I did a complete reformat and reinstall of the original HP software and works ok but afraid to load the dvd copy software for fear of messing up system and having to start over. HP sent me original restore dvds along with a good deal of shovel ware that i deleted. My Pentium4 3.06ghz with XP professional doesn't have problems is the xp and xp media 2005 different enough to cause my problem. any help with this is greatly appreciated:eek:
