Windows XP & Microsoft RAS HELP PLEASE!!!

My buddy has an old Twinhead laptop and I put Win XP Pro on it a couple months back and put his NetZero high speed dial up on there, everything worked fine until a couple days ago whaen he called me and said hes getting a message when he tries to use the NetZero dial up software saying "Please Install RAS, no ras installation found on your system. Please install Microsoft ras and then restart NetZero". I checked it out and ran spybot, ad-aware, norton's anti-virus 2004, and AVG virus scan, after all that I took out a bunch of spyware stuff but there were no viruses, then I did all the Microsoft updates, like SP2 and all the updates you can get online and its still giving me that message about the RAS. Please help me out. Thanks

I am also getting that same message. I tried everything. Help.

 

OK I found the answer. It looks like the user profile got currupted. What I did was create a new user, transferred all the files over to the new user. Netzero works fine now.
