Windows XP Pro setup hanging on

After changing a MB , I tried to repair WIN XP Pro and to adapt to the new MB
The system stucks when loading drivers on 34 min before the end.
I tried more times, disconnetting every peripheral , usb .
Anyone has experience of this ?
How can I go out fro this ?

Unless your chipset is the same on both boards you are most likely going to have problems,you most likely will have to do a complete fresh install. ed

 

Did you install the latest media player?

If so, at the point it hangs, hit CTL + F10. This will bring up a command prompt. type in:

taskmgr.exe (press enter)

I know you can't really give a screen shot, but listing the processes could be helpful. I'm guessing there is a hung process.

On a side note, not related with this problem. I use to do this and play solitare while installing windows.

Fresh install , no wasting more time
