Windows xp product key and new motherboard.

    I recently changed the motherboard and hard drive on my computer, and I need to load windows xp on it. The problem is that I lost the cd and I don't have the product key or anything. Is there any way to get a replacement from microsoft or anywhere else?

    Your probably SOL.

    No CD, no Key, probably dont have reciept either.
    I'll bet Microsoft would sell you one, heck I'll bet they give you a reciept too!

    Call thier customer support.

    Microsoft issues replacement product keys and CDs, for a small cost.
