Windows XP Registry Proplems

    Is there some place I can go that has a log that will show me files in the registry that have been repaired? I keep getting a message after bootup telling me that a file(s) in the registry had to be repaired.

    the message doesn't give any detail, if i can remember correctly: Windows registry recovered from a serious error, used a log or backup to fix. Thats it or something like that.

    Dina .... what XP updates have you done.. is SP1 or SP2 installed as that registry error was if its the same one I remember happening on some XP Home machines was cured in SP1.


    found the issue I remembered on that error message http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=317277 an oldie!
