Windows XP services problem

I went through the list of services today, changing some to manual, others to disable, as needed (guided by an online guide). Now all works except that when I open up the Task Manager it displays nothing under "User Name". Time was it would say "Daniel" or "System" etc. Anyone know what service change may have caused this?

 

Try this,

Start > Run > Type: services.msc > OK
Scroll down to and double click: Terminal Services
Set Startup type to Automatic > Apply > Click the Start button > OK
