Windows XP Skin

Hey guys,

I'm not sure if this is in the right place or not so if it isn't i'm sorry.

I've been looking around for some skins for windows xp as i used to have a skin with a black taskbar. I've recently had my computer wiped so obviously i don't have the skin anymore. The guy that put the skin on my computer isn't the same guy who wiped my computer, so i don't know how he did it. There wasn't any programs from the look of it that he used and the two skinning programs i've come across both cost money.

What i'd like to know is how to skin windows xp without using one of these programs? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I personally use a guy that has a site called " Tweaking with Vishal " he's a Microsoft MVP so you have no problems when downloading his products, and his site is safe !
There may be people on here at MG as well so hang about for a bit and you might get some more pointers from others !
