Windows XP SP 2 Problems

I just downloaded the XP SP 2 update from this website and I installed it and noticed the little key logo on the toolbar. I'm not sure if that means I have to register again or not but I tried it anyway and it wouldnt accept my cd key. It's legit but it wouldn't take it. Do i have to activate this copy too? If you know anything I don't then please let me know...

 

The key means you have to reactivate.

heheh, and you wonder why you can't reactivate with your current key.

 

lol my key is legitamate though. I got it when i bought the Win Xp SP 1 service pack Home edition. I'll c if i can reactivate it somehow though, let me know if you have any other ideas..

 

Now it won't let me register my key. i click activate windows an nothing comes up.

maybe i dont have to register it.

aww well, i'll find out in 30 days

 

Go to start, run, and type:

C:\windows\system32\oobe\msoobe /a

Click OK.

What comes up.

 

i did it but it still wont come up

 

thanx adrenlyn but i said the hell with it and uninstalled it. I am gonna wait till the auto-update picks it up.
