hi, I'm new here but have alot of networking questions. ok, this machine I am currently using is a underclocked (due to heating issues) pentium 1.2ghz with 512 mb of ram and with xp pro sp2. for some reason when I try to enable ics it is not there. I have even looked at my services and nothing of the sort appeared. what I want to do is use this computer to give my xbox internet as it is way to far from my router to even dream of connecting with a wire. I tried bridging the connections too, like I did on my brothers computer (it worked on that one), but this computer doesn't even show the adapters in the bridge for Flying spaghetti monsters sake r_r. please help, I thought xp pro was supposed to work better for these things
    1. ics isn't available
    2. the network bridge doesn't work either.
