    This;

    Is what my taskbar looks like and I want it to look like this;

    I tried right clicking the taskbar and changing between classic and XP view, but the blue colors won't come back. I'm thinking I deleted something important from my startup config menu.. Could that be it? I'm talking about going into all programs, right clicking start-up and changing what loads at startup. Is there something I could of deleted from there while getting rid of unneccesary programs? If so, where can I get it.

    Also, System restore won't work, I've tried.
    Thanks,
    -Justin

    "Configuration Manager: The plug and play service or another required service is not available."

    Can you help me fix that? Or do I need it?

    It showed up when I tried the first fix

    Have you been altering the 'services'. If so you might have turned off the theme service or the plug & play.

    To see.....right click my computer/manage/services & applications/services.

    Click on START
    Double click CONTROL PANEL
    Choose the THEMES Tab
    Use up/down arrows to find WINDOWS CLASSIC
    Select it, then press the APPLY button (bottom right)
    Keep clicking OK until you are out
    then you need to reboot your system to get it to work the way you want

    Hipster Doofus: I did mess around in the services list earlier but I did not disable these things.. My sound has now died with winamp telling me to get the right drivers and oh my lord... I don't really know what to do because I don't know what my soundcard is called. I'm going to post a few screens of the services list and can you (or someone) tell me what I NEED to enable. I might disover more problems too, so if you see something that's neccessary, please let me know, it would really help.

    I get a generic beeping sound everytime a sound is supposed to play.

    It looks to me like a lot was disabled.. Please help, someone!

    Edit: Windows audio was disabled, so I started it, but still the beeping sound continues.
