Recently I reformated my Harddrive just using the feature with installing windows xp. After I did that and it started reinstalling windows xp and then the CD was too scratched and it said I had to restart again. So I got another windows xp cd and put it in and it just goes back to the same error message. Is there a way that I can just go back to the original blue screen, reformat my computer again and start a fresh install of windows xp? Thanks

Set your bios to boot from cd rom, it should reboot into windows setup again. Press any key to boot from cd , dont miss this, it dont last very long. ed

that is what I assumed would happen again. But it doesnt it doesnt let me boot from cd anymore despite me setting the cdrom as 1st boot, and pressing F8 to make sure it boots from the CD it just loads the windows installion screen all over.
