I have already followed the READ ME FIRST directions and hope that I did it all correctly. I started having these annoying popups this week - Adult friend Finder, and AutoWinFixer and my computer is running very slowly. I think that I have followed all of the procedures correctly and am including the log files. I am running XP Home Edition
    IntelĀ® CeleronĀ® 2.60 GHz Processor
    40 GB HDD
    256 MB DDR (PC 2100)

I was unable to run the online scans in safe mode so had to run them in regular.

Please help if you can because I am at a total loss here. I thought that running updated AVG, Zone Alarm and running Adaware frequently would keep my computer free of this junk. Thank you so much.

    Looks good

I have not seen the pop ups since I ran Vundofixer. Do you think it's safe to disable system restore now and reboot? Thank you so much!

    Re: Looks good

First make sure all of the below files have been deleted:
    C:\asdf.exe
    C:\Documents and Settings\Family Member\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\4HAN8HIV\ff3[1]
    C:\Documents and Settings\Family Member\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\4HAN8HIV\ff3[2]
    C:\Documents and Settings\Family Member\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\YYJPDRXB\ff3[1]
    C:\WINDOWS\ss3unstl.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\awvtq.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\O.BAT
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\SHAgentNew.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\vturs.dll

Then if you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to go back to step 1 of the READ & RUN ME to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points. Then reboot and enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.

After that, you should work thru the below link:
