WinHound — again and again and again ...

For some reason couldn't post a 'Reply' on the previous 'WinHound' thread.

I accidentally opened an email which resulted in 'WinHound Spyware Remover' being installed on my desktop. Although the program allows uninstall, as the other member states, WinHound re-installs itself and/or downloads and installs after computer restart and accessing the internet.

It locates in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE and will not delete.

Google search 'winhound' only shows one result — a Russian only forum so this is possibly a brand new malware.

None of the several removers I've tried gets rid of it, any assistance appreciated.

- Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

- Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:
