    Hello, like some other boardmembers i got infected by the Win32/Patched virus ( or at least i believe that is it's name ).

    AVG's resident protection always alarms me that the c:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe and the c:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe are infected.
    Wether AVG nor Malwarebytes were able to help me.

    I have attached the logfile from TDSSKiller as suggested in another, similar thread and the relevant HijackThis file.

    Is anyone please able to help me?

    First, thanks for the qick answer :D

    Yes, i have a Windows recovery disk so both files can be replaced if necessary.

    I decided a short while ago to run ComboFix and it told me ( in the log ):
    which translates into
    I hope i haven't done anything wrong by running ComboFix without waiting for any professional input first but running it was included into Step 3 of the Clearning Procedures.
    I have included the ComboFix log into this post but it is unfortunately in german. If that makes it hard to read for you then i will of course download the english ComboFix version to get an english log.

    I will reinstall AVG and see if the resident protection still has issues with both files.

    Besides that, i just want to state that i am very grateful for the work and time you people invest to help me and others. Thanks :)

    Ok. At least Combo was able to take care of that as the Recovery CD probably would not have allowed you to access the Recovery Console.

    In the meantime ( while you are running the Read and Run instructions), please also do this:

    * Make sure that combofix.exe that you downloaded while doing the READ & RUN ME is on your Desktop but Do not run it!
    If it is not on your Desktop, the below will not work.
    * Also make sure you have shut down all protection software (antivirus, antispyware...etc) or they may get in the way of allowing ComboFix to run properly.
    * If ComboFix tells you it needs to update to a new version, make sure you allow it to update.
    * Open Notepad and copy/paste the text in the below code box into it (make sure you scroll all the way down in the code box to get all lines selected ):
    Code:
    KILLALL::

    Driver::
    ultradfg

    File::
    c:\windows\system32\DRIVERS\ultradfg.sys
    c:\dokumente und einstellungen\Daniel\up.exe
    c:\windows\elasuqer.dll
    c:\windows\dlievrsv.dll

    Registry::
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
    "Mwomahivafecujo"=-

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
    "Ulezu"=-

    * Save the above as CFscript.txt and make sure you save it to the same location (should be on your Desktop) as ComboFix.exe
    * At this point, you MUST EXIT ALL BROWSERS NOW before continuing!
    * You should have both the ComboFix.exe and CFScript.txt icons on your Desktop.
    If it asks you to overide the previous file with the same name, click YES.
    * Now use your mouse to drag CFscript.txt on top of ComboFix.exe
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v666/sUBs/CFScriptB-4.gif
    * Follow the prompts.
    * When it finishes, a log will be produced named c:\combofix.txt
    * I will ask for this log below

    Note:

    Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

    Now run the C:\MGTools.exe file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:
    * SAS log
    * MBAM log
    * C:\ComboFix.txt
    * C:\MGlogs.zip

    Make sure you tell me how things are working now!
