winmail.dat

    I get this attachment in some of my emails: winmail.dat, I do not have any programs that will open it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    The person/s that are sending you mail are sending via Exchange and if they have Rich Text Format ticked then you will get the winmail.dat file as an attachment.

    as far as I know you cannot turn them off it has to be done the other end by the person sending you the mail.

    Edit... forgot to add the program for reading ( button happy today :) )
