WinMX gone?

Hi Geeks.
I've used WinMX for file sharing for quite awhile. It no longer makes a network connection and the site says the software is not available anymore. Is this network defunct? Can the geeks recommend a decent P2P program (spyware free)? I searched MG for "p2p software" and the threads is brought up were about 6 mos. old.
Of course I only download non copyrighted or public domain files.

How long has it been since you last used it ..... Hmmm used to be free buttt i see they are now charging (WTHeck)
P2P's are not a great idea if you wish to have a clean and functioning pc! (even from legal dl's)

Limewire is one

sharezaa is another (probably misspelled)

These are supposedly both spyware free LOL

 

WinMx still works, you just have to "tweak" it a bit.

If you want to change anyway, ShareAzza is very good.
