WinPC Antivirus

One of my computers was infected with WinPC Antivirus. Went to the add/remove programs and it wasn't listed.

I've tried all the Malware removal programs on the "run this first" sticky on the forums, none of them will start. I've tried to download and update those programs on a separate computer and then burn them to a disk and still they didn't work.

Tried going into the running processes and ending those and then tried running them and still nothing.

I've read some other forums about this and they said there was a way to remove it manually by deleting things in the registry but I'm not exactly sure on how to do that.

If you have any other things i could try I would appreciate it because I'm kind of running out of ideas

Computer is HP Pavillion with Win XP Service pack 3

Are you sure that you really tried to run every program? MGtools almost always runs even when other programs do not. Did you really try to run it? Please download the current version of MGtools (just updated) and try running it. Attach the requested MGlogs.zip file.

Did you try renaming the other programs as suggested?
Did you try running them safe boot mode? Try this and make sure that NO browsers or other unnecessary programs are opened since this infection hooks into anything you run and the more you have running, the more problems you will have.
