winrar compression for music

I want to compress some of my music on my pc. Should I use the best compression or the store compression. I know best is advised by winrar but what if space doesn't really matter to me. The only reason I am grouping it as an RAR is so I can 1. have it together in album form and 2. cause having it as an rar seems more effective to me than having it in a folder form.

Second question is in case I do find myself in a situation where space is a factor , is best compression better, really? I am concerned about quality in this regard too.

 

1. If you want only to keep you files in this format it's totally indifferently what kind of compression rate you are choosing.

2. If space is important value for you I have to notice that compression effect will be tiny for mp3 files. But for some formats of wav files it may work. And you need to choose max compression in this case.

And regardless of compression rate zipping process is just another way of data recording and your files quality will never depends of compression rate.
