I am trying to clean up our WINS database and have a list of owners that I cannot remove. I have three WINS servers, one NT4 and two 2003 AD. When I delete the owners they reappear. How do I make them go away permently? they have IP addresses that have nothing to do with my network. I have tried breaking replication and manually removing the entries from all three servers but the entries return. ANY IDEAS????

By breaking replication you mean you are stopping WINS on all 3 servers? Deleting all the old files and then coordinating the restart of wins on all 3? This must be done correctly or you will just keep propigating after deleting. You might want to check into the possibilities of NT4 WINS databases not communicating correctly with 2003.

I never stopped WINS just removed the replication partners and deleted the entries. After the entries were removed on all three servers, I readded the replication partners.

Ok delete the replication partners - Stop WINS - delete WINS tables
Restart WINS - Run a nbtstat –RR on all 3
    Reconfigure replication partners
