winscvhost.exe/svchost.exe/services.exe trojan help!

Managed to get this somehow - have never run into anything so difficult to remove before. Please help! I have tried the typical approach of scans and system restore, the former showing the trojan quarantined, and the latter doing nothing. I also read that windows defender may help with the issue and when i clicked on it, it gives me an error.

Basically out of options aside from the big guns (you guys) because I don't want to get in too deep. I'm here to follow instructions! Thanks in advance.

Edit: Running Vista 64 if it matters.
