I was going into a website called tv sitcoms.com and I usually have no problem going here, but lately I noticed it was trying to upload a virus/malware that my AVG free edition was finding. Each time it was trying to upload something through 2003 microsoft professional software. So I would hit cancel, and then scan my computer. Well, this time it successfully infected my computer. Now my desktop wallpaper says something like "You have a virus/spyware, you should scan your computer click here" and then on the lower left of my desktop comes up a pop up that says "your computer is slow from spyware click here to scan" which is of course the malware trying to get me to download more nasty stuff. Cause it will pop up IE and try to get in my security. Same thing I get another pop up that says I have something wrong with winshell32.dll

So, I tried scanning with spybot, AVG, and smitfraud even on safemode and it hasnt fixed the problem. Could anyone here help me?

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide
    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
    Notes:
    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
