Winsock And TCP Problem With Network ?

i have a small home network consisting of only 2 computers at the moment but usually like every 2-3 months the client computer cant connect to the internet through the network or retrieve and browse the host computers files i have a small program called winsockxppro fix that reckons somehow the registry gets corrupt (spyware or sumit maybe?) unfortunately this time i must be up against a brick wall because i am unable to fix it (the only way i know format & reinstall windowsxp Again!!, if anyone has any suggestions or if anyone has had this problem please leave i reply

 

this is typically caused by a virus. I would suggest scanning with a good AntiVirus. AVAST! is a good free AV that I recommend.

You probably need to Fix the WinSocket.
